Frances’s Baby Quilt–Welcome Frances Party
My wonderful granddaughter, Frances, is almost 7 weeks old. I visited her for the second time this past weekend and delivered her baby quilt that I made. When I am with Frances I am so happy. Here is a photo of her new quilt.
Her Mom and Dad’s friends hosted a beautiful party to welcome Frances. Here are some photos of the beautiful food and setting.
Happy New Year 2014
This kitty cat candle holder was a Christmas gift from my son in 1993. That was 20 years ago. I love lighting a candle in it every year on Christmas. There is a bow and holly leaf on his neck that can not be seen in this photo. My son was 14 at the time he gave it to me. Such a wonderful memory.
The pillow below is what I made him this year for Christmas. I quilted the cover for a throw pillow. It was the first time I had been in my work room for a very long time. I plan on spending more time there this year.
