Happy Earth Day
Back to one of my favorite spots for taking pictures – The Arnold Arboretum, Boston.
The last time I was here the Aboretum was covered with snow and ice. Today the birds were cheeping and the buds on the trees were getting ready to burst. Next week it will look quite different. It was fun to finally be taking pictures in the sunshine. Here are a few:

I took these photos on a docent led walk at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston yesterday. Since I was concentrating on the surroundings I missed most of the docent’s lecture.

I took this photo from my window at the height of the January 2015 blizzard. It was around 1:00am and the energy from the storm was keeping me awake. Another storm is predicted. Here’s hoping the weather folks are wrong.
On a recent photo shoot at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston with my friend and fellow photographer, I spied this fine looking regal fellow in a tree.
What a surprising treat for us. There are lots of hawks in our neighborhood but it is rare to get a good picture of one.
