last day of September

Today was one of those fall days that I live for.  Cloudy skies, threatening weather, windy, warm, and humid.  Feeling almost tropical when I was out walking.  We are in the path of a rain storm coming up from the Carolinas.  In the meantime, the sound of the wind rustling and blowing branches around on the trees is distracting in a very pleasant way.

Earlier this week I delivered the quilted table runner I was working on to my friend  who commissioned it.  It actually fits on a book case that sits under her living room window.  Below are pictures of the finished product.  Some of the exposures aren’t that great.
